Adventures on the Turkish Coast

Undoubtedly the best way to see the beauty of nature and the riches of the history of the Turkish Coast is by the traditional Turkish Gulet. Gulet charter is becoming increasingly popular when not too long ago it was a considered a luxury holiday only for the rich! There are now many gulets of different sizes and class to suit most budgets. There is a wealth of gulets to fit everyone's taste and the best ones can be obtained right from this website.
Gulets can be classified under other terms as Goulette, Caicco, Schooner and Motorsailor.

If you have already visited Turkey, you will be aware of the wonders offered to the visitor. Turkey has a wealth of historical sites and is one of the few countries where it is possible to stumble over Roman, Byzantine or Lycian ruins whilst on a pleasant afternoon stroll.

The south western coastline not only has some of the most beautiful scenery to be found in the Mediterranean, but also has many sheltered and safe anchorages for yachts of all sizes. This is definitely an area that you should consider visiting.

To give you more of an insight into our charter operation we work actively with fully crewed traditional Turkish gulets.

Our fleet consists of the greatest choice of the best quality of traditional, wooden Turkish gulets of which all offer air-conditioning.

Generally the yachts are based either in Marmaris, Gocek or Bodrum.  All are accessible by international travellers via Dalaman International airport - Marmaris being 75 minutes and Gocek being 20 minutes drive away and Bodrum Airport, 30 minutes from Bodrum port.

Suggested itineraries are cruising South East and back to Gocek or Marmaris or South West and back to Marmaris, Bodrum-Marmaris, Bodrum-Gocek or vice versa.  Cruising further south to Antlaya is also possible. Some clients do not like the idea of coming back to the same port (they think the return will be a repeat) but there are so many small bays and islands that each itinerary can be planned so that no places are revisited. Charter durations are completely flexible and can last from 3 days up to over a month or more depending on your plans.

If you wish to finish in a different port from that of embarkation, this arrangement may be possible, as long as it allows sufficient time for the yacht to return to their base for the next charter. The client will be charged a delivery fee to cover the yacht’s lost charter time and expenses to get back to its base in Marmaris.  These fees are confirmed according to each request and differ from Gulet to Gulet.

We can help you with all your questions and promise to answer all enquiries and requests accurately and immediately. We know the cruising grounds well and  are very familiar with the gulets on our lists so would be happy to send full information to assist you with any enquiries.
